Can I begin with ETH and no IMD?
That is the checkout's intended journey. It calculates the missing IMD and prepares an exact-output purchase before the separate job payment. Real purchases remain disabled until the production release is enabled.
Does IdentityMD accept my ETH directly?
No. ETH buys the missing IMD through POOL4. IMD goes to your wallet, and IdentityMD's normal x402 payment uses that IMD.
Is there a fixed job price?
No price is hardcoded in IMD Flow. The app reads current official requirements and asks you to review a time-limited quote.
What costs should I review?
Review the required IMD, swap estimate, maximum ETH and network gas. Market fees are reflected in swap execution. The V1 router adds no protocol fee. Gas is not refunded when a transaction reverts.
What if I already have IMD?
Only the shortfall is purchased. If your balance is sufficient, checkout skips the swap.
Can a failed job payment lose the IMD I bought?
An unsubmitted or rejected authorization leaves the acquired IMD in your wallet. After a signed payment is submitted, check settlement status before assuming funds were not charged. A network error does not prove failure.
Is everything one transaction?
No. Asset acquisition, any required Permit2 approval and IdentityMD settlement are distinct steps. The interface brings them together while keeping confirmations explicit.
Is the project token required?
No. A separate project token is planned, but no token contract or launch terms are implemented here. It is not IMD and is not needed by the router.
Is this an official IdentityMD product?
IMD Flow is an independent integration. Links to IdentityMD and POOL4 identify the protocols used, not a partnership or endorsement.
